Last week we went on a road trip, down past the Camargue and the coastal towns of Sète and Marseillan, where Provence meets France’s other Mediterranean coast, the Langudoc-Rousillon. Christmas Provence Vines

I’m still getting used to a Northern Hemisphere Christmas. Yes, I’m one of those strange people from the south who thinks Christmas should be hot, spent outside by the barbeque, enjoying a traditional festive menu of prawns and mangoes, before an afternoon swim to cool off.

There are definite pros and cons to both, but the thing I adore the most about Christmas in Europe is the festive market. Afternoons spent rugged up and cozy, drinking mulled wine, browsing all the stands (all lit up and gingerbread house-like) and breathing in the evocative scent of roasting chestnuts. Wine Tourism in Provence


Recently I received a very lovely email from a fellow Nice resident called Kévin Bonnet, who wrote to say how happy he was to see his beloved wines of Provence being enjoyed and discussed.
